A Very Busy Sunday

One of Doug's coworkers invited us for lunch at her home in the East Bay. Lonan had fun playing with her boys, who are 3 years and 18 months. Afterward we did a little house hunting just to see what's out there, which turns out to be a lot more house for a lot less money. And it would be nice for my child to have a yard too.
Afterward we went to Dennis' to see his sister Jen visiting from Chicago with her new baby Nicholas. Lonan was fascinated and kept saying "Baby! Baby! Baby!" He also reverted to his own babyhood, climbing in to Nicky's carrier and his bouncy chair. And all of this without a nap. I was sure he'd sleep in the car but he was busy singing his new favorite song, Old MacDonald Had a Farm. Actually he only knows the chorus, "E-I-E-I-O" and he sang it the entire drive back from Oakland.. over and over and over and over. Cute for the first 20 minutes or so. Anyway, he was a trooper considering he'd not slept all day. We got home, had a bath, went down at 730 and he slept for 13 hours.
