No Doggie

The boys are at a difficult stage in their relationship. Larrabee still always hovers near Lonan in hopes of a handout. When that doesn't materialize he has been known to help himself. I guess Lonan has heard us scolding Larrabee to the point where now all he has to say to him is "NO DOGGIE!" Larrabee walks in the room: "NO DOGGIE!" Larrabee walks out of the room: "NO DOGGIE!" Larrabee breaths or wags his tail: "NO DOGGIE!"

Father's Day 2009

Poppa could have used a little paramedic - I spent the day in bed with either food poisoning or stomach flu.. we'll never know for certain. Poor Daddy was on duty all day Sunday, and Saturday too while Poppa was at Uncle Keith's 40th birthday party.

But with a little help from Larrabee he kept Lonan mostly in line.

More Birthday Madness

We had Lonan's party at a park right up the hill from us. About a dozen kids and their parents.
We had snacks and juice and of course..

cake!

Once all the kids were all jacked up on sugar we let them loose in a bouncy thingy we rented for the party.

It was a big hit and a great way for them to burn off some energy.

Lonan and Leo were the last holdouts. Here they are waving bye to the bouncy as it was deflated.

Poor Rufus

Or as Lonan calls him "Doggie." All the wear and tear is really starting to show.

Lonan finally rubbed his one remaining ear off. Larrabee ate the other one a while back. He's losing his fur and his stuffing. And he stinks too.

The Godfather(s)

Lonan's godfathers Scott and Gray were visiting from Atlanta this weekend with their daughter Reed.

Lonan called her nina, Spanish for girl.

And Reed called Larabee Larabelle, which cracked us all up.

She brought the boys back some handmade slippers.. and some Guatemalan coffee for dad & pop.
