Good luck! We bought our first potty nine months ago in hopes that I could get Christopher trained in short order. Well, he clearly had something to say about that topic. Lately, though, much like Lonan, Christopher has been coming up to us to say "poop." Sometimes he says it before the act, and sometimes he says it after the act. At least we are getting somewhere!
Ahh- One of the last stages of freedom for you both! Andrew's dr suggested that since most kids are so food motivated, to place a plastic/clear cup with a lid in the area, with M&M's inside. Tell him 2 for peepee, 3 for poopoo. Andrew caught on immediately, and tried to go even when he really didn't have to! "Will work for food" is a very true thing for kids! Enjoy! Alesa from Ga
Lonan has been announcing his business recently so we bought him a potty and he used it the very first day. Brilliant!
