Doug was overnighting in LA so we went out to dinner with Art & Bob. 1st stop, Deep sushi right around the corner from their house but it was a 30 min wait. Next stop.. a new french place that just opened in Glen Park. Bzzzt - no luck there. So we went next door to Chenery Park - and it was kids night! Babies and toddlers everywhere. Turns out they do it every Tuesday and it's a hit with the parent set. So we fit right in and had an excellent meal, which Lonan slept through. Forgot to get pictures but I am sure we will be back soon.

Midweek Update
My first full week home alone with Lonan and it is flying by. He is such a good baby... going very easy on his Poppa. We had company yesterday... Saffa's mom Barbara came by to met Lonan and gave him some beautiful outfits and a sweater. "You can't have enough warm clothes," she said, speaking as an SF native.

Dear Dad n' Poppa, Is it that you don't take pictures of gorgeous Lonan crying/fussing/expressing displeasure? Or is it just that he's the PERFECT BABY and never actually looks anything but utterly adorable? Sigh! So glad to have this blog to check in on now and again, to stay up to speed with your wonderful new addition. p.s. e-mailed my Mom today, told her she's got local competition in the "Honorary Grandma" department (Babs Bardaro has pulled ahead! Nan Heinemann's not even out of the gate!), and she'd better hustle her buns over there pronto! Much much love to all, Laura (and Darren, and baby-to-be!)
